The family of expanded elastomers has many branches, which include, to mention the most commonly used materials, EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene Diene Monomer), CR Chloroprene, NBR Nitrile Rubber (Nitrile-Butadiene Rubber) and SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber).
In some cases, these can be mixed with each other or with other materials (blended materials) to obtain the desired characteristics.
In this case as well, we are talking about an extremely wide range of products with very different weight, mechanical, chemical and fire resistance characteristics.
Their use is mainly in the industrial field, such as for thermal and acoustic insulation, gaskets and seals, vibration dampers or bumpers, but they can also be useful for packaging.
They can be cut into sheets, adhesified, shaped with different cutting technologies, milled and die-cut.
